I completely agree. I disliked the story and was pretty disturbed by it. It is scary to think that in the mad times of slavery black people were treated this way. The whites were literally having a picnic while they were burning this man, literally murdering him! I finished the story only to end up having an upset stomach.
I agree, I did not like it at all, and honestly I didn't finish the story.
