I enjoyed reading "A Streetcar Named Desire". I will definately have to rent and watch the movie. The only part I didn't like about it is when Stanley raped Blanche, his sister-in-law. Then they had her commited from her nervous breakdown.
Oh, yeah... and Jazz "rocks!" LOL The older I get, the more I seem to like music that isn't encumbered with words. If you haven't found it yet, there is a website called Pandora. It's free to join and you can listen to all the Jazz (or anything else) you want :)
So did I, I disliked Stan for what he did to Stella. It was sad. He drew a wedge between the sisters. For her to allow her sister to be put away for something her husband did is beyond me. She did deserve better.
Yeah, that part really stunk! But... if you haven't already, watch the movie, the ending is better :)

Yes, I have heard of Pandora. I listen to it often, and I love it. Great music!!!
ReplyDeleteI really liked A Streetcar named desire, but I hated Stan! Stella was a strong woman and had to deal with a lot, she deserved better.
